This bathroom is a updated 2ed bath in a 150 year old house in Port Jefferson. While
removing the old bathroom, it was discovered that the under pining of the house was being
eaten away. This was because the house was built on dirt and moisture had gotten in. After
a call to the exterminator; a new Joice system was constructed, using pressure treated
lumber. A new sub floor was installed using 3/4" plywood. Finally, the house had the stuff
needed for a solid bathroom to be constructed.
